Magnetotelluric data analysis using 2D resistivity modelling in Gondang region, Bojonegoro

Abstract Previous studies in Gondang Subdistricthave identified underground mud reservoirnear a rock intrusion, while another study near Subdistrict has deep fault structures. This will identify the distribution and characteristics of possible geological features area using magnetotelluric (MT) method to further describe relationship between related local geology. MT data measurements were conducted on 7 stations alonga north-south line, then modelled 2D nonlinear conjugate gradient algorithm. The model was used subsurface resistivity features. results show 5 resistive zones (20–1250 Ω⋅m) 4 conductive (≤10 Ω⋅m). former consist vertical zones, 1 zone deeper than km, horizontal surface. 2 surround zone, others stretch below zone. are interpreted as andesite intrusions, one volcanic breccia. consisting tuff marl with saline water content. 3 intrusions thought have same source, all suspected co-occurr Pandan Volcano intrusion.
